| 内容記述 | This is the translated article from Karl Güunter,s“Geschichte der Erziehung in Deutschland (1967)”which includes many of Fröbel,s educational ideas and works. Fröbel was originally born in the villege of Oberweisbach in Preußen (Germany today) in 1782. His father was a clergyman of local evangelical church. After having worked as the manager for the forestry industry, he entered the faculty of Philosophy and National Sciences of Jena University as a student and eventually became a noted romantic nationalist. In 1805, Fröbel has met with Pestalozzi and he engaged himself in the“Heimschule”movement. This experience made him realize the mission as a teacher. He recognized the value of preschool education and named it“Kinder-Garten”． He attached importance to“Play (Spielen)”and conceived“Gift (Gabe)”as the instrument of“Play”．In some of his books, he described that“Joy”and“Life”are integrated through education of“Play”．Fröbel recognized“Play”as the method for mental and physical capacity building. We believe it is important to note“Gift”creates the potentiality to develop fantastic valuable capacities of children. In summary, from the historical view point, we can witness the emergence of progressive ideas coming from the newly established social class called“citizen,s class”． | |||||||||||
